It’s been a while since I’ve updated my awesome-sauce blog, but it’s with good reason. The Diligent Music team has been busting ass. Click the image below to download the new Ajax Stacks mixtape for free.
With some stellar help from the Whiskey Neat team (and many others), Kevin and I produced this awesome video for Stacks, which Kevin directed and cut perfectly:
My first album (an EP / Mixtape) was released yesterday. Stream it below, or download it for free here.

This was quite and eventful week–and it’s only THURSDAY. In case you didn’t hear, Osama Bin Laden was brought to justice. That is–without question–a good thing. My view on the celebration of his death, however, took some people by surprise.
The above quote was the Facebook status that I posted after seeing news of wild celebration of Bin Laden’s assassination. I received a lot of feedback.
My pal Broadway (co-Host of The Morning After Show), over at 104.5 WSNX, caught wind of this and authored this post:
Eloquent, I know ;)
Nevertheless, this intrigued me. Why did people choose to celebrate the death of another human? The urge to discuss the topic led me to accept The Morning After Show’s offer to feature me in a segment. You can listen to the audio here.
At the end of the day, I think that Dr. Pamela Gerloff sums it up better than I can. Read her article in the Huffington Post by clicking here.
Then I finished out my evening, doing what most people would do: by winning a Competitive Strip-off at a Gay Club for Charity. My friend, Jeff Barrett, and I went tit for tat, in the stripping contest to end all stripping contests.
I raised $55 and he raised $25-or-something… I’m not sure. All I know is I won! Yay for me! The hostess with the Yostess matched our winnings by making up the difference between our earnings and $100, so the real winner is Access of West Michigan.
THAT WAS MONDAY. ON TUESDAY…
The Rapid millage passed! Yes! I’m so-fucking-happy that it passed. The news is very welcome, because I won’t be driving a car this summer. I’m moving downtown–only a 7-minute walk from my office–and I’ll use a bicycle to get most places. If I need to, I can now use an even better public transit system!
I also recorded the last song for the Freshman EP by Due Diligence: $AFETY. The song is called Swimming, and you people are going to love it!
The last song that I had to finish writing for the $AFETY EP is called SCISSORS. I’m really excited about it, because I love the music that Travis and I chose. The lyrics are all done, and I’ll be recording to this track in the next few days. Check it out here:
