Thanks to Rob, for bringing me onto this project. We’ve been working on it since November, and Producing the video will be a wonderful memory for me for years to come. Thank you to Grand Rapids, thank you to my Line Producer (Josh Rubino), my Assistant (Melissa Dylan), and my best friends (Kevin Budzynski and Jeff Barrett) for all of your hard work and support!
Here’s a FOX 17 video feature from after the wrap of the shoot. Look for me towards the end:

This video recounts the events of my saving Jeff, when is fuel pump died on him:
The Lip Dub
Rob and I talk about it on Take Five and Company (WZZM), and yes–it did get rained out on the 15th of May. We’re gonna rock it out on Sunday (May 22).
Gentleman’s Contest
This photo album shows the battle that Kevin and I had. (VIDEO COMING SOON)… Our gentleman’s contest was incarnated in a game of Strip H-O-R-S-E. He won the prize: the “master bedroom,” at our new Heritage Hill apartment.
The real winner: The Heritage Hill neighborhood.
SEF video
We’re proud to add the following clients to our list this quarter:
Kevin and I went to see the IAMDONALD tour, in Detroit, on Tuesday. It was so fucking good. Makes me really excited to perform at the Diligent Music Launch Party in June. (That’s an info leak! Ahhh!)

This was quite and eventful week–and it’s only THURSDAY. In case you didn’t hear, Osama Bin Laden was brought to justice. That is–without question–a good thing. My view on the celebration of his death, however, took some people by surprise.
“The loss of a life does NOT make me feel Patriotic. The death of Bin Laden will not bring back any of the lives that were lost, due to his actions. This news only makes me sad that there is still such a base level of violent nature in humanity.”
The above quote was the Facebook status that I posted after seeing news of wild celebration of Bin Laden’s assassination. I received a lot of feedback.
Nevertheless, this intrigued me. Why did people choose to celebrate the death of another human? The urge to discuss the topic led me to accept The Morning After Show’s offer to feature me in a segment. You can listen to the audio here.
At the end of the day, I think that Dr. Pamela Gerloff sums it up better than I can. Read her article in the Huffington Post by clicking here.
Then I finished out my evening, doing what most people would do: by winning a Competitive Strip-off at a Gay Club for Charity. My friend, Jeff Barrett, and I went tit for tat, in the stripping contest to end all stripping contests.
And so it began...
Layer one comes off...
Topless bar...
I get a bit dirty...
Stacking that paper...
I made it rain. Barrett picked it up, then I eye-fucked the camera.
I raised $55 and he raised $25-or-something… I’m not sure. All I know is I won! Yay for me! The hostess with the Yostess matched our winnings by making up the difference between our earnings and $100, so the real winner is Access of West Michigan.
THAT WAS MONDAY. ON TUESDAY…
The Rapid millage passed! Yes! I’m so-fucking-happy that it passed. The news is very welcome, because I won’t be driving a car this summer. I’m moving downtown–only a 7-minute walk from my office–and I’ll use a bicycle to get most places. If I need to, I can now use an even better public transit system!
I also recorded the last song for the Freshman EP by Due Diligence: $AFETY. The song is called Swimming, and you people are going to love it!
